Enjoy a day out driving your “Ultimate Driving Machine” over some famous mountain roads – CA 89, 49, 20 and old US 40. We’ll meet at McDonalds, 5148 Mae Anne in Reno at 8 a.m. with a full tank of gas and ready to depart at 8:30 sharp! (A Truckee meet point is also available).

Our destination is the historic 19^th Century California gold mining town of Nevada City. On the way out you’ll see the Sierra Buttes, drive along the Yuba River and through Downieville. The return takes you past the Sugar Bowl Ski Area, over the incredible Rainbow Bridge and down past Donner Lake.

Lunch is at Lefty’s Grill in Nevada City ($24pp) for the buffet. After lunch you’ll have time to walk the town and visit the boutiques and shops.
