John Strom did a presentation about Driving the Roads of Europe at the January meeting, sharing his experiences and offering some tips.  He illustrated his talk with photos taken over the past 20 years during which time he’s driven over 20,000 miles!  He showed the cars he’s driven, lots of photos of the roads – autobahns, beautiful secondary and alpine roads and city and village streets.   He talked about the challenges of reading the road signs, of parking both in the tight garages and on the narrow streets (there’s a reason BMW mirrors retract!) and driving on the one-track roads.  It was a fun presentation!
