    1. Virginia City Drive this coming weekend, Saturday, May 16th, 2015. Meet at 9 but leave at 9:30 at Starbucks at Wedge Parkway and Mt. Rose Hwy. We are expecting 20 – 25 people and maybe a dozen cars.
    2. Tech Session between Porsche and BMW Clubs will be  provided by RennSport to be held on July 25th at 9AM at their shop.

  4. BMW leads Luxury Class in 1st Quarter. BMW is back in the lead as of this past quarter followed by Mercedes an Lexus. 3 & 4 series increased by 47% from last year. 1 & 2 series increased by 124% from last year.
  5.  BMW X3 new model in 2017. Rumored to have a hybrid model. LED Lights. Sleeker. 320HP 4 liter gas engine will be new. There may be an M X3 coming out as well.
  6. BMW i3 Most Energy Efficient Car. The most energy efficient car beating out the Telsa Model S (84MPGe) and Nissan Leaf (106MPGe) 139 MPGe
  7. BMW: Most Reputable Company. According to the Reputation Institute now ranks BMW as the most reputable companies in the world beating out Google (3rd) and Disney (6th) Rolex (4th) Apple (8th).

    Question: 3-series is going through a mid-series renovation. What is the new engine replacing the 335 motor?
    Answer: Will be called the 340I (B58) and have 320HP and 330 ft lb of torque.

    1. Pat McGoff received an email from Doug Jacobs of Prospero’s Garage. He makes color coded wiring diagrams generally for old historics. Discussed the option and legality of sending out a single email blast to the club by way of advertising. Anybody who is interested can contact Pat. The diagrams are 11” X 14” and cost $20.
