Russ Huntoon has arranged for us to visit and tour Bert Skidmore’s Intrepid Motorcar Company Facility. Intrepid is vintage car restoration and tuning company. Intrepid supports and fields race-ready historic cars. Bert personally drives his 3.0-liter DFV Cosworth powered T-286 Lola in vintage car races. The tour of his shop might take in work in progress on Ferraris, Chevrons, Elva, Jaguars, Maserati, Ford GT40, Gurney Eagle F1 Lola, a March, Shelby Mustang, Austin Martin, and others. His shop has been described as a multi-marquis showroom of vintage of racing exotica.

As a side note, one of Bert Skidmore’s first jobs was working for Russ Huntoon in his alignment and brake shop.
