2022 January Second Saturday Drive (SSD)

The rules/requirements are easy.
- You do NOT have to be a member of the Chapter to participate (Bring a friend to introduce them to the BMW CCA and our Chapter).
- No reservations are needed, We meet at the starting point starting at 9:30am on the second Saturday and leave promptly at 10:00am. If you are able to join us, please do. If you can’t make it, no big deal; we will miss you and hope to see you on the next one.

As we celebrate the 1st Anniversary of the Second Saturday Drive program and due to the current state of unpredictable weather and road conditions we are going to keep the January route simple but enjoyable. We will make a loop run to Carson City and then on to Virginia City via the Hwy 50/34 route and finally head back down Geiger Grade and end where we started. Due to Lori and I having another personal commitment right after the drive, there are no plans for having lunch as a group for this drive.
As a reminder, these drives are meant to be informal and do not require an RSVP. We meet at the starting point around 9:30am and leave with everyone that has shown up promptly at 10:00am. Also, I am always looking for ideas on different routes to run, so if you have any ideas for a route that you enjoy or think other members of the club would enjoy, please reach out to me and will get it on the schedule. I do plan on having a run to the Grass Valley Area this year once the snow season has passed and we can get there without too much trouble.
Finally, details on where are January Chapter Meeting will be held should be sent out soon, we are still working on the exact location. I would also encourage you to let us know if there is a restaurant in the Reno/Sparks area that you would like us to hold a meeting/dinner. We only ask that they can accommodate 12-15 people (normal monthly meeting attendance over the last few months) as a group and allow for individual/couple dinner checks.
I look forward to seeing you on a drive this year or at one of our monthly chapter meetings. We are planning some other events for the year and more details on these will be sent out soon.
