2021 Poker Run

Finish +/- 1:00 p.m.
Come join us for a beautiful ride and Poker Run through Nevada and California. The gamble is whether the weather will cooperate. If Monitor Pass is closed we have an alternative beautiful route. If raining or snowing in the mountains, just lunch and poker in Red’s Old 395 Grill in Carson City.
Red’s is a cozy spot for hand-cut steaks, ribs & Buffalo wings alongside over 100 beers from around the world.

Monitor Pass and Poker Run
Begin at Raley’s on Wedge Parkway (first card draw). Head south on old 395 to junction of freeway in north Carson City and proceed south to junction of 395 in south Carson City. Turn onto Jack’s Valley Road to Genoa. Potty stop at Mormon Station (second card draw). Proceed south to junction of Hwy 88 turn right and proceed to Hwy 89 left to Markleeville. There is an airport rest area with no facilities, regroup for 15 minutes (third card draw). Proceed through Markleeville to the junction to Monitor Pass. Stop at the top of pass at the rest area for another short stop (fourth card draw). Go to the bottom of the pass to the junction of US 395. Stop there for a short stop (fifth card draw). Turn left on US 395 and proceed to Carson City and lunch at Red’s Old 395. This is the last stop and where we have lunch. See mapped route below:
After everyone has had a chance to order and are settled we will present the prizes for High Hand and Low Hand (to make it interesting).
