LAPD picks BMW i3 over Tesla Model S: Here’s why

The Los Angeles Police Department will buy 100 BMW i3 electric cars for non-emergency use. The LAPD announced plans for this order last year, when it took delivery of an i3 and a Tesla Motors [NSDQ:TSLA] Model S for testing. It turns out officers preferred the i3.

Calling all BMW CCA members that care about Street Survival, Archiving and Preservation in your group.  Come help the Foundation get our message out!   The BMW CCA Foundation is looking for a member for our dynamic Publicity Committee.   The is an appointed position and is prestigious within the chapters.

It also provides a local chapter member to have national exposure.   We have a new volunteer publicity opportunity and  I am reaching out to all the chapters to find the best candidate.  This person is active, ambitious and works great with people.  Having experience in PR and an ability to write a press release will make an excellent addition to our committee.  If you have a dynamic person within your chapter, want to meet new BMW CCA chapter members and support The Foundation please email wmartin@enthusiastmediagroup.com or call at206-427-1652.
