SUMMARY:Regional Public Safety Training Facility (RPSTF) Tour
DESCRIPTION:This year’s Street Survival is right around the corner and we are in full preparation. Street Survival will be Saturday\, October 8th and the location is NEW and EXCITING!!! It will take place @ the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office\, Regional Public Safety Training Facility (RPSTF)\, which is located at 5190 Spectrum Blvd. That happens to be directly across Hwy 395 from Parr Ave and the county jail. If you find yourself in a room with a bunch of folks wearing stripes\, quietly excuse yourself (if it’s not too late) and go to the other side of the freeway\, almost all the way around the traffic circle and then up the hill. Yeah\, that’s better. \nWe have requested a tour of the facility next month on Thursday\, June 9th at 3PM… before our regular monthly meeting @ Bill Pearce. Any/all interested members are welcome to join in. Should they not be able to accommodate us on that date\, I’ll ask Carol to blast out a corrected date. \nWHAT: STREET SURVIVAL orientation tour of the Regional Public Safety Training Center\n\nWHEN: This Thursday\, June 9th @ 11AM.\n\nWHERE: 5190 Spectrum Blvd (Exit 395N @ Parr/Dandini\, turn right\, go 3/4 around traffic circle\, turn right on Spectrum Blvd\, go to the top of the hill\, parking on right for the bldg on the right) The elevator is around behind the front receptionist desk (usually unmanned). Go up to 2nd floor and down the hallway to the end. We will not hang around very long after 11 before going out on the driving course.
