SUMMARY:2025 April Second Saturday Drive
DESCRIPTION:The rules/requirements are easy.\n\nYou do NOT have to be a member of the Chapter to participate (Bring a friend to introduce them to the BMW CCA and our Chapter).\nNo reservations are needed\, we meet at the starting point starting at 9:30am on the second Saturday and leave promptly at 10:00am. If you are able to join us\, please do. If you can’t make it\, no big deal; we will miss you and hope to see you on the next one.\n\nWelcome to spring in Northern Nevada. For our April 2025 Second Saturday Drive (April 12th)\, we will be making the run out to Middlegate Station east of Fallon. USA Today recently ranked it as on of the Top 44 places to eat in America. Our route will take us for our usual meeting place of the Raley’s ONE on Wedge Parkway up Gieger Grade to Virginia City and then east on 6 Mile Canyon to Hwy 50\, east on Hwy 50 to Fallon and then continuing east to Middlegate Station. We will gather at 9:30am for signing the required release and then depart promptly at 10:00am. As always\, this evert does not require any RSVP or commitment. If you wish to join us\, please show up before we depart. I hope you can make it. \nI also wanted to take this opportunity to provide an early announcement of our May Second Saturday Drive\, May’s drive will be a differnt plan in that we will be taking a longer then usual drive to make the trek to the California State Train Museum in Sacramento. While the drive will officially end after our arrival of the Train Museum\, there is always the option to make it a weekend and stay overnight at accommodations of your choice\, or return back to Reno via I-80 East.
