SUMMARY:2021 June Second Saturday Drive (SSD)
DESCRIPTION:Second Saturday Drive is a monthly drive event meant to give you an excuse to get out and drive your BMW at least once a month. \nThe rules/requirements are easy.\n\nYou do NOT have to be a member of the Chapter to participate (Bring a friend to introduce them to the BMW CCA and our Chapter).\nNo reservations are needed\, We meet at the starting point starting at 9:30am on the second Saturday and leave promptly at 10:00am. If you are able to join us\, please do. If you can’t make it\, no big deal; we will miss you and hope to see you on the next one.\n\n\n\n\n\nGreetings and Happy June Sierra Chapter!\nJohn English (Chapter VP) has agreed to lead us on a route that has been proven to be popular in years past. A Reno to Virginia City Drive via Lake Tahoe. It should be a very scenic drive and I hope you are able to join us.\n\nUnlike previous SSD’s due to the extended route\, we will depart an hour earlier\, around 9:00am from the Mt. Rose Raley’s (18250 Wedge Parkway in Reno) head up the Mt. Rose Hwy (431) and stop at the Lake for a Kodak moment (15 minute stop)\, then continue through Incline Village (28) with a stop at Starbucks at around 10:30am (15-20 min stop\, depending on how many want mochas and frappuccinos…) and potentially pick up more members\, and then continue south on 28 along Lake Tahoe to Carson City (50) to catch the Six Mile Canyon Road\, left on Main Street in Virginia City\, ETA – 12:15-12:30.
